Kevin Brubaker is the Director of Advance, a ministry of Biblical Ministries Worldwide which is focused on partnerships with Indigenous Churches to help them send their missionaries to areas closed to the gospel and difficult for Americans to reach. Prior to that, he and his family served in Far East Russia for several years, working to train church planting pastors. Kevin also serves as the Senior Pastor of Central Bible Church in Tacoma, Washington and has more than 25 years of ministry experience. He has been married to Yulia since 2007. Kevin and Yulia first met when Kevin was teaching in Russia and she was his interpreter. They have three children ages 15, 12, and 10.

1) What is the most important thing you want us to know about your ministry?
70% of the world lives in countries where traditional missionary activity is either not allowed or is quickly deteriorating. Opposition to the gospel is nothing new but the intensity and breadth of hostility is growing more rapidly than ever before. Yet we are still driven by the Great Commission. How do we effectively reach our world for Christ? One answer is Advance. Advance forms partnerships between Bible believing churches in other countries and our country to help international churches send their missionaries to places where it is difficult for Americans to go, providing the international church networks with what they need so that they can reach their mission field.
2) Prayer Requests:
Pray for the nine church networks we work with in East Africa, Central Asia and Southeast Asia, that God will help them to continue to make disciples and send out evangelists and church planters.
Pray for those who have been sent by these networks - 82 in all - and are serving in dangerous places, facing daily persecution and danger, that they may have strength, faithfulness and keep their eyes on Christ.
Pray for our team that Kevin leads as we are planning trips to Africa and India in coming months. Pray for contacts with new Bible believing churches in these countries that we can inspire to send their disciples across borders for Christ.
Pray for new partnerships with American churches so that we can continue to help international churches.
Pray for our family - we also serve in a church in Tacoma - for our three kids and us that we may be a light to our own neighborhood in North Tacoma and see growth in our church.
Thanks for praying for us!
